The bottom picture is a picture of Courtney Reed who is playing Vanessa for In The Heights until July 3rd. After that she's going on vacation for a week. She's so amazing! Singing, dancing, AND acting!? All of it! She pulled it all off! It was amazing! I haven't seen a performance that good in years. When I first walked into the Richard Rodgers theater on 46th street, I got a little sad at first because it was the theater that Tarzan used to be in. I have no idea why they stopped Tarzan on Broadway. Courtney Reed was amazing, and her voice was beautiful. What doesn't make any sense is that she had to audition 8-9 times before they let her in the cast and even then, they only cast her has a minor part and an understudy for Nina & Vanessa. I'm pretty sure she has recently taken over the part of Vanessa and doesn't have to understudy anymore. She used to be in Mamma Mia! I'm so obsessed with In The Heights right now and I'm trying so hard not to be because I know I really annoy people when I'm obsessed with something. Haha! I loved it! IT'S WAS AMAZING! GO SEE IT!
