Nothing really went on yesterday or today except in my head. I started to think about how close graduation really is. This weekend my mom wanted to get my jacket hemmed for graduation and I said, "Relax, Mom, graduation isn't until Thursday." That's when I stopped to think about the words that came out of my mouth. "Graduation is on Thursday." That's only a few days away. I never thought the end of this year was going to end so abruptly.
It happened a couple hours ago again when I was ordering the new Bose Quiet Comfort Acoustic Noise Canceling Headphones as my graduation present. I looked at when it was going to actually be delivered and it wasn't going to arrive by graduation and when I counted up the days it would take. Graduation is not even a week away anymore. It's making me really nervous and excited at the same time I'll never forget my Asian buddy, Adam Shen. :-) He ripped the sides of his lunch pass so now he's called "Dam She." lol
Oh, I can't forget to say happy fathers day if you're like me and don't have a father anymore, you know he's with you. It sounds cheesy but they're in your heart and you know it. It's sad for me on fathers day and christmas because Christmas day is when my father died and on fathers day I have no one to give a cup that says, "#1 Dad" to. I've gotten better at dealing with it. I light a candle to remember him by and I let it burn all day. If I'm going to be out during the day I leave the candle burning in the sink or the bath tub so the house doesn't burn down.
